We are in unprecedented times with a world-wide virus fundamentally affecting everything that we all do. Covid 19 and Government instructions have placed huge but necessary restrictions on how we all operate. London, the geographic focus of the JBVCF's charitable activities, is at the centre of the UK storm.
At the JBVCF we make no distinction between our concern for the health and safety of our clients, for that of our caseworker, Shaun Blackwood, and for that of society at large. At the same time though, through this tremendous period of uncertainty, for our clients this uncertainty could be devastating.
So whilst all face-to-face meetings have ceased, Shaun continues to work from home, operating the JBVCF Through the Gates programme with frequent phone and digital contact with clients, related professionals and multi agency bodies. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Shaun, and his own support network at the St Giles Trust, for continuing safely our client programme in these most challenging times. As the situation further develops, we will endeavour to keep you updated.
As ever your continued support in these difficult times also sustains us. Johnson, I and all other officers of the JBVCF wish you and your families particular best wishes for the challenging months ahead.
